A reinvented loft, between audacity and elegance
A stone's throw from the Élysée, this loft nestled in the heart of the 8ᵉ arrondissement of Paris saw a family grow. After a decade of memories shared between its walls, the departure of the children marked the start of a new page. Rather than turning the key one last time, its owners have chosen to reinvent it.
We had carte blanche to transform this atypical space and breathe new energy to it. The objective? Redefine the volumes, assert strong biases and explore a daring palette, without ever sacrificing the timeless elegance which befits such a place.
A scenographed entry, between tradition and modernity
From the entrance, the tone is set: a subtle encounter between heritage and modernity. To enhance an old Chinese cabinet, preciously preserved by the owners, we have chosen a Japanese wallpaper with delicate patterns. Its enveloping graphics was placed in the background of a glass staircase that we have drawn.
The whole composes a real decor, where every detail has been designed to magnify the singularity of the place. Here, the past and the present respond with accuracy, giving space a strong identity.
A bold kitchen with assumed contrasts
The kitchen is vibrant and asserted. We have chosen large eggplant stripes to dress the walls, a graphic and rhythmic pattern that structures space while giving it a unique character.
In response to this chromatic audacity, the worktop and the bar is adorned with a tiles inspired by green Zellia. The subtle shine of these tiles bring a living touch, contrasting with the rigor of the vertical lines.
This set of materials and colors creates a kitchen that is both warm and contemporary, a space designed to be as aesthetic as it is functional. Here, the personality of the place is fully expressed, mixing elegance and creativity in an assumed harmony.
A pop and vibrant lounge, heart of the loft
Place of life and exchanges, the living room displays a strong personality. Inspired by the energy of pop art, it is adorned with bright colors and daring furniture pieces which breathe unique dynamism into space. Here, the contrasts are assumed, and each element contributes to composing a living and expressive set.
To strengthen this warm atmosphere, we imagined a contemporary insert fireplace, a centerpiece that structures the living room while bringing a touch of comfort and conviviality. Its sober and elegant design fits perfectly into the whole, offering a real focal point which particularly appeals to the owner.
This fair, both modern and sparkling, reflects an assumed vision of design: a space where you dare, where you live fully, in a resolutely warm and welcoming atmosphere.
An elegant and versatile office for gentle
Thought as a sophistication setting, the office of Monsieur combines elegance and versatility. Designed to be both a refined workspace and a cozy TV room, it easily turns into an extra bedroom to welcome friends passing through. A clever development that preserves comfort without compromising the aesthetics.
A sparkling gym and its yellow sun bathroom
To boost the daily life, a Peps gym has found its place in the apartment. Vibrant and energizing, it invites movement in a frame designed to inspire and motivate. Adjusting, a yellow sun bathroom completes this space dedicated to well-being.
Bright and radiant, it breathes a solar energy which contrasts with the rest of the apartment, offering a real boost in the morning.
A mezzanine office, a colorful candy for Madame
Perched on mezzanine, Madame's office is a real chromatic jewel. Thought like an inspiring and joyful space, it stands out for its bright colors and its sparkling atmosphere.
Each element was carefully chosen to stimulate creativity and bring a daily dose of good humor. A bubble of energy and sweetness where it is good to work, dream and imagine.
