THE SPECIFICATIONS FOR THIS REAL ESTATE PROJECT
A couple of owners entrusted us with the country house they had just acquired with the mission of:
- Decorate it to create a unique, original universe, in the image of their family and their roots

THE INTERIOR ARCHITECT’S PROPOSAL
- Propose settings using warm colors and reminiscent of the surrounding nature.

A FAMILY LIVING ROOM AND GAMES ROOM IN A TRAFFIC AREA
L’objectif pour cet espace de circulation desservant les chambres à l’étage de la maison, était de créer deux zones distinctes, utiles et confortables pour se retrouver en famille : un salon TV et une salle de jeux, pouvant également servir de chambre d’enfant.
Pour la salle de jeux nous avons choisi de créer un cube lumineux avec des cloisons mi hauteurs et des vitres atelier en chêne naturel.
Pour créer un salon télévision cocooning, nous avons sélectionné un grand canapé très confortable recouvert d’un joli velours côtelé jaune. Celui-ci ressort sur le mur peint en bleu nuit. Des fauteuils design, esprit chauffeuses, que l’on peut assembler en banquette, permettent d’accueillir plus de monde lors des soirées en famille devant un bon film. Le tapis aux motifs géométriques et colorés fait écho aux couleurs du mobilier et des murs. Pour rythmer ce décor, des appliques colorées installées comme une sculpture murale.
A LOUNGE WITH CHARACTER & FRIENDLY
For this large reception room, we chose to continue the use of deep green and garnet colors, and to bring softness with a lighter shade of green.
Pour apporter de la lumière dans cet univers original et atypique, nous avons joué avec les matières et le mobilier.
Un canapé en velours aux teintes bleu lagon, un duo de lustres en laiton doré à la fois modernes et classiques, un buffet laqué bleu à la fois chic et campagne avec ses portes en cannage, deux grands lampadaires sculpturaux qui viennent éclairer et encadrer la cheminée majestueuse. Leur couleur jaune rappelle le champ de colza qui fait face à la maison. La touche finale de cette décoration est apportée par des rideaux en tartan bleu comme un clin d’œil aux origines du propriétaire.
A PRACTICAL AND FRIENDLY KITCHEN/DINING ROOM
For these cooking lovers, who love entertaining the whole family for long weekends and vacations, it was essential to rethink the kitchen as a living space that was practical and friendly.
Une cuisine aux teintes douces, avec un plan de travail minéral qui fait écho au sol. Et pour réveiller tout cela, une faïence traditionnelle bleu lagon très lumineuse.
Pour rendre l’espace convivial et une grande table en chêne esprit bois brûlé campagne et moderne à la fois.
Un grand buffet vitrine idéal pour disposer le brunch du dimanche.
Et pour éclairer la pièce et parfaire la décoration, nous avons sélectionné de beaux et grands luminaires aux styles différents.
THE ROOMS
For the rooms we have imagined a specific universe per room. We used soft colors always reminiscent of the surrounding outdoor nature.
So a room is in sunny yellow. We have selected furniture made from natural materials (wood, wool, leather) to provide a cocooning atmosphere.
Une chambre en vert reprend les teintes du salon pour créer un lien entre les étages. Dans cette chambre, nous avons choisi une tête de lit en esprit maçonnée qui donne une touche « campagne chic et épurée » à la pièce.

THE ADDICTION
In the outbuilding of this beautiful house, the challenge was to create a music space on the ground floor while retaining the spirit of the original building. Upstairs, the request was to create a guest bedroom that would be welcoming and retain the water point and toilets. For this, we opted for a very bright mineral shade for the headboard, selected a revisited cement tile-style tiling for the bathroom area and found an old shutter door adapted on site to hide the toilet.
