Decoration of a contemporary Haussmannian apartment
In this example of an interior decoration project, we carried out a quick makeover of a rental apartment (reduced budget) with the purchase of beautiful lighting fixtures and pieces of furniture that we can keep whatever happens.

Our client is a young divorced father, he is moving into a Haussman-style apartment where he can accommodate his two children. He asks us in a minimum of time and expense:
- to bring style, friendliness and character to the all-white apartment,
- to spend as little as possible on work,
- however, to emphasize beautiful lighting and quality furniture that he can keep.
The apartment is very recently renovated all in white unfortunately and the owner, for reasons of economy, used glass cloth (a very unsightly covering which helps hide ugly cracks or imperfections). In short, a result that is not optimal on a decorative level.
Decoration proposals from the Interior Architecture Agency
We chose a dominant color, BLUE, as a common thread in all the rooms of the apartment: the doors, the basement walls, the curtains and the personalized headboard.
Our decorators have selected designer lighting, quite contemporary, which brings pep to the Haussmann style.
The use of noble materials such as marble, or offbeat materials such as synthetic materials, accentuates or reverses Haussmannian codes.
Finally, the application of touches of red in a color complementary to blue to magnify the dominant color, must bring warmth and highlight our client's works of art.
Bring light to the entrance, which is open to the rest of the apartment
The installation of a superb black woven designer light fixture suspended like a sculpture from the ceiling sets the tone for this family apartment.
Create a dynamic and friendly dining room for entertaining
Choosing a large elliptical marble table can accommodate a large number of guests. Chairs with colorful edges add a touch of whimsy and match the artistic photographs on the wall. The magnificent black pendant light highlights the rosette and dominates the table with lightness, like a cloud.
Furnish the living room in continuity
We selected a comfortable velvet sofa in electric blue to brighten up the navy blue of the walls and match the curtains. The nesting coffee tables are also in lacquered blue to add shine. Finally, the curtains with their decorative and geometric patterns give warmth and elegance to everything. They were specially made by our upholsterer.
Arrange and decorate the kitchen to make it functional and bright
The installation of a very beautiful black and white lacquered pendant light decorates the room. The accessories are red and a table allows you to have breakfast and certain meals.
Decorate the corridor leading to the sleeping area “like in a hotel”
The installation of a very geometric blue wallpaper gives character to this very long corridor, associated with the white and black lighting which illuminates and breaks the monotony of this space.
Makeover the bright master bedroom
We designed and had one of our craftsmen create a custom-made blue headboard. The color is repeated on the fireplace and the wall shelves which have been repainted
Create a personalized and stylish child's bedroom
The intervention of a decorative painter, on our recommendation, to create illustrations of comic book characters on the walls and cupboard doors, gives incredible charm to this room. The kids will love it!
