A Haussmann-style family apartment
Specifications :
A family of 3 children, including a teenage girl and a young boy, lives in Neuilly sur Seine in an apartment purchased two years previously.
Before moving in, they had the entire apartment repainted white. The father of the family comes to see us for fitting out and decoration work in the entrance and hallway, living room and dining room.
He wants to give character to this apartment and make it more designer, while considering the age of the youngest child, 4 years old, and that it is a family living space. He wants the whole family to be able to comfortably watch television in the living room. He and his wife love designer objects and blue.
The work must take place over a short period and during holidays.
Studio proposals:
Think about tailor-made storage arrangements on the one hand in the entrance, to store everyone's clothes and shoes and on the other hand in the living room, to store all the children's board games and house the family television.
Look for designer furniture pieces and lighting to decorate spaces.
Dress and embellish the long corridor which serves the entire apartment to set the tone for the apartment
Entrance and corridor all in blue and red details:
A custom-made carpet in shades of blue and red is installed all along the corridor to warm up the space.
The doors with moldings in all the rooms opening onto the corridor are painted dark blue to make them stand out and give lots of character to the apartment.
This deep blue sets the tone of the apartment and as it is the owners' favorite color, it is found in all the rooms.
The carpet on the floor responds to the designer lighting fixtures in white fabric, like clouds hung and arranged along the entire length of the corridor; the red thread of the suspensions echoes the red of the carpet.
A white marble console and a pretty mirror are the first very chic pieces of furniture, visible when you enter the apartment.
A large custom-made piece of furniture is made with storage space for each member of the family when they return home. A light wooden niche with a red textured background serves as a bench for sitting or storing things.
The corridor, which was impersonal and very long, becomes a real friendly space for circulation and sets the tone for an elegant and designer apartment.
A chic and designer living/dining room
The Studio designed a large custom-made piece of furniture to hide the living room radiator, install the television and store all the children's board games. This piece becomes an essential decorative element of the living room.
A comfortable sofa allows the whole family to watch movies together.
A wool rug in shades of blue demarcates the living room area. The same will delimit the dining room. A set of nesting, organically shaped coffee tables allows you to entertain friends.
Two designer armchairs complete the seats.
Golden lighting fixtures illuminate the niches of the custom furniture and surround colorful paintings that are dear to the owners.
Two large light columns in ribbon fabric separate the living room area from the dining room area.
The owners choose a pretty oval designer marble table that the agency completes with comfortable seats which bring a lot of elegance to the reception area.
Designer lamps placed on the chest of drawers along the wall bring touches of color and wall lights like sculptures create a warm lighting atmosphere.
This large space allows you to receive friends and live with family in a soothing environment of blues and warm lights. The decor is chic and designer while being very practical for a large family.
